Check in time is 3 p.m. on Saturday. Check out time is 10 a.m. on Saturday.
We hope you enjoy your stay. Please note that checkout time is 10 a.m. on the date designated. Before you leave, we just ask a couple favors to help our housekeeper prepare for the next guests:
Keys: You will find the key in the lock box located in the breeze way. The combination will be given to you by e-mail once your deposit is received.. Please leave the key on the kitchen counter when you leave.
Linens: Linens are included and you are also welcome to bring your own linens and towels.
Housekeeping: A Housekeeping fee of $175.00 is due upon departure. A check or cash may be left on the counter.
Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed at The McNair Cottage.
Occupancy: Maximum occupancy is for 7 persons.
Lost Items: We cannot be responsible for personal items left at the cottage although we will do out best to return items to you if absolutely necessary. There will be a fee for such a service.
Dock & Lake Use. We hope you enjoy beach side activities but will do so at your own risk. Please abide by all New York regulations regarding boat registration and usage as well as any fishing regulations. Fishing licenses can be purchased locally for reasonable fees. Non-swimmers and children under 12 years of age must wear a life jacket whenever they are on the dock.
Noise: Please be a considerate neighbor and abide by the good neighbor rules in the agreement and the welcome guest book.
Fireworks: Fireworks are NOT allowed on the property.
Drinking Water: The water for the cottage comes directly from the lake. We recommend bottled water be purchased locally for all consumption. Some years ago when zebra mussels because an issue at the lake, a filtering system was installed. Occasionally, water pressure drops which indicates that the filter needs to be replaced. Please contact our property manager to replace the water filter.

- Please take all trash to the trash cans in the breeze way.
- Please load all dirty dishes into the dishwasher and run a normal cycle.
- Please lock all doors & close all windows.
- Please place the keys on the kitchen counter.
